The University of Bonn kicked off the academic year 2021/2022 on October 18, 2021 with the traditional ceremony marking its founder’s day. As in the previous year, the ceremonial opening took place as a “hybrid” event: The event was held in the Aula in attendance and simultaneously broadcast via a livestream on the Internet.
